The Candidate Page is where you can see all assessments that have been submitted by candidates, including their score, assessment status, solving time, and decisions made by hiring managers.

In this article, we'll guide you through the process of navigating your Candidate Page.

  • To access the Candidate’s page, on the homepage of your Canditech account, click on the Candidates tab on the top of your screen.

  • Here you will find a list of all your candidates, the status of their assessment, solving time, scores, and much more.

On this page, you can search and filter by a specific candidate, assessment, assessment status, or assessment decision.

Assessment Status

Canditech utilizes a comprehensive system with five distinct statuses to track a candidate's assessment progress:

  • Invite Sent: At this stage, an invitation has been sent to the candidate.

  • Opened: This status indicates that the candidate has opened the assessment. However, they have not yet begun the assessment.

  • In Progress: The candidate is engaged in the assessment and actively answering questions.

  • Completed: Once the candidate has finished answering all the questions, and has chosen to submit the assessment, it will be marked as "Completed."

  • Abandoned: This status applies when a candidate leaves the assessment without submitting it, and the allotted time has elapsed, preventing the candidate from re-entering into the assessment.

Assessment Decision

Canditech allows users to make a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” decision on a candidates’ assessment.

  • A “thumbs up” decision means the candidate has “passed” the assessment.

  • A “thumbs down” decision means the candidate has “failed” the assessment.

Note: decisions made on the Canditech platform will sync to your ATS, if applicable.
