To help you collaborate on your hiring decisions, Admin users can invite colleagues to your company's Canditech account with various permission levels. Our Individual plan allows for 3 users per account. Our Team plan allows for 8 users per account. All other plan tiers allow for unlimited users.
In this article, we’ll explain the different user types, the permissions included with each, and how to invite teammates.
User Type
There are two types of users in Canditech - Admin and Interviewer:
Admins - have view and edit permissions to all the account’s Assessments, can see all the candidates and control the Account Settings including inviting other users.
Interviewers - have permissions for specific tests and candidates, and cannot view the account settings.
Usually, the Admin users are reserved for the HR team that recruits for all the positions, while the hiring managers are typically Interviewer users, who receive permissions to their relevant tests and candidates.
Permissions
Canditech supports two types of permissions for Users (Admin Users have all permissions by default):
Viewers - Viewers can see an assessment and invite teammates. This is the lowest level of permissions a user can have for an assessment.
Editors - Editors have full viewer permissions, can edit assessments, and view candidate submissions. This is the highest level of permissions a user can have for an assessment.
User permissions are configured on a per-test basis. In addition to these permissions, you can also configure Email Notifications for each Assessment. By selecting email notifications, you enable users to receive emails whenever a candidate submits a particular Assessment.
