Integrate Canditech with Teamtailor

Teamtailor's integration with Canditech allows you to seamlessly send Canditech’s assessment to a candidate. In this article, we will cover how to:

Enable the Teamtailor/Canditech Integration

To start, navigate to Canditech Platform > Settings > Integrations.

Note: The Settings page is only accessible to admin users.

Open the Teamtailor drop-down and click "Generate Key".

Your API key will be generated and saved.

After copying your API key, navigate to your Teamtailor Account > Settings > Marketplace Integrations > Marketplace:

Scroll down until you see Canditech under the Assessment Category.

Select Activate.

Once Canditech is showing as Activated, click the "Go to Settings" option.

You will be redirected to Teamtailor Settings. Paste your API key which you copied from Canditech platform

Click on “Update.

You are now integrated!

Adding Canditech Assessment as a trigger in a Job's Stages

From your Teamtailor Homepage, navigate to the "Jobs" tab.

Select the relevant job.

Select the Triggers button.

Select the Job Stage for which you'd like to add the Canditech trigger.

Select Send Canditech from the dropdown.

Select the relevant assessment from the drop down, and click "Add Trigger".

Your Assessment is saved to your Job's Stage. When a candidate reaches this stage, the Canditech assessment will be triggered automatically. For more information about using Triggers for bulk actions/automation, click here.

Inviting candidates to an Assessment

Candidates are automatically invited to the assessment from Teamtailor once the trigger is properly configured as outlined in the previous step. Additionally, there is an option to send the assessment to the candidate manually.

From your Teamtailor Homepage, navigate to the "Jobs" tab.

Select the relevant job.

Click the Pink + Button to Add a Candidate.

Fill in the candidate's details, and once finished, select "Add Candidate".

Move the candidate to the stage that has the Canditech trigger (for example, the Reviewing stage).

When opening the candidate’s profile, you can see the Canditech invitation.

Sending a Canditech Assessment to a specific Candidate

From your Teamtailor Homepage, navigate to the "Candidates" tab.

Select the relevant candidate.

In the candidate's profile, select More > Add integrations.

Select Send Canditech.

Select the relevant test from the dropdown and click Send.

Your Canditech Assessment will be sent to the selected candidate.

Sending a Canditech Assessment to Candidates in Bulk

From your Teamtailor Homepage, navigate to the "Candidates" tab.

Select the bulk select option.

Select the relevant candidates from the list.

Click on More > Integrations.

Select Send Canditech.

Select the relevant test from the dropdown and click Send.

Your Canditech Assessment will be sent to the selected candidates.

Reviewing Candidates and making decisions

Once your candidate has submitted their Assessment, you can view the status in the Candidates' profile.

An email notification will be sent to all Canditech users with "Editor" permissions to the specific Assessment.

From your Teamtailor homepage, navigate to "Jobs".

Select the relevant job.

Open a specific candidates' profile.

In the candidate’s profile, you will see their submitted Canditech Assessment, along with their score, status, and a link to view the submitted assessment on Canditech.

When you navigate to the candidate's assessment session in the Canditech platform, you can give the candidate's test session a thumbs up or thumbs down decision.


Back in Teamtailor, your decisions will be updated.

Additional Options for Bulk Actions/Automation

There are a variety of ways to utilize TeamTailor for Bulk/Automatic Actions, including Triggers and Filters.

Triggers

You can set specific triggers for different stages of your recruitment process, which will activate when a candidate reaches that stage. To read more about using Triggers for bulk actions/automation, click here.

For example, you can utilize the Send Canditech trigger (which was discussed in a previous step) to move candidates in bulk to other steps based on their score in their Canditech Assessment:

From your Teamtailor Homepage, navigate to the "Jobs" tab.

Select the relevant job.

Select the Triggers button.

Select the Job Stage for which you'd like to add the Canditech trigger.

Select Send Canditech from the dropdown.

Select the relevant assessment from the drop down, and click "Add Trigger".

Toggle on the Move candidate when complete option.

Here, you can configure a score benchmark for the Canditech Assessment, and select a stage that candidates will be moved to, based on your benchmark.

Select Additional Options to set more trigger options for bulk actions, including trigger delays, trigger exceptions, and canceling the trigger for specific candidate types.

Filters

You can use filters to easily navigate your bulk database of candidates. To read more about using Filters for bulk actions/automation, click here.

For example, you can Filter by a candidate's Status of their Canditech Assessment, as well as their score.

From your Teamtailor Homepage, navigate to the "Jobs" tab.

Select the relevant job.

Select the Filters button.

Scroll to the bottom of the Filter options until you reach the Partner Results Area.

Select Canditech from the Partner Results dropdown.

Here, you can filter by their Status in Canditech (passed, failed, etc.) as well as their Assessment score.
