You can connect Canditech with Zapier to automate certain features of the Canditech platform.
Setting up the Integration
The integration between Zapier and Canditech is turned on from inside your Canditech account and the setup is configured inside Zapier.
Connecting the Integration
To start, navigate to Canditech Platform > Settings > Integrations.
Note: The Settings page is only accessible to admin users.
Open the Zapier drop-down and click Generate API Key.
Your API key will be generated and saved.
Configuring the Integration
After copying your API key, navigate to the Zapier Platform.
From inside your Zapier account, create a new Zap.
Navigate to set a Trigger.
Search and select Canditech as a trigger.
Select an Event from the dropdown.
Click Continue.
Select Connect Canditech and click on Sign in.
You will be redirected to a page where you will paste your Canditech API Key that you generated from the Canditech platform.
Paste your API Key and select Continue to Canditech.
Canditech will be connected as an app in Zapier.
Using the Integration
Once you've integrated Canditech with Zapier, you are able to utilize the integration either as the trigger or the action for your automation workflows.
The following Canditech Trigger Events are available in Zapier:
Candidate Completed Assessment - Triggers when a candidate has completed an assessment.
Candidate Score Updated - Triggers when there is a manual score update on a candidate's assessment.
Candidate Updated - Triggers when there is an update on a candidate's assessment, e.g. candidate created, completed the assessment, new comment, pass of fail verdict, manual scoring.
New Candidate - Triggers when a new candidate is created.
New Comment - Triggers when there is a new comment posted on a candidate's assessment.
New Verdict - Triggers when there is a pass or fail verdict decision on a candidate's assessment.
The following Canditech Action Events are available in Zapier:
Send Assessment to Candidate - Sends an assessment to a candidate.
