Integrate Canditech with Jobvite.

Jobvite's integration with Canditech allows you to trigger Canditech Test invites directly from Jobvite.


Enable the Jobvite/Canditech Integration

To start, navigate to Canditech Platform > Settings > Integrations.

Note: The Settings page is only accessible to admin users.

Open the Jobvite drop-down.

There you will find your unique Webhook URL.

Next, click "Generate Key" to obtain your Webhook Signature Key.

Your Webhook Signature Key will be generated and saved.

Once you have both your Webhook URL and Webhook Signature Key available, a Jobvite account admin should send an email to your Jobvite account manager (or submit a Jobvite support ticket) with a request to connect your Jobvite account to Canditech. In your request, you should provide the Webhook URL and Webhook Signature Key.

The Jobvite Support team will respond with your API Key and Secret Key.

Once you receive both Key's, paste them in the Canditech Platform > Settings > Integrations > Jobvite.

You are now integrated!


Validate the Canditech workflows in Jobvite

Once you have successfully integrated Canditech with Jobvite, a Jobvite account admin should send an email to your Jobvite account manager (or submit a Jobvite support ticket) with a request to enable your Canditech workflows.

To confirm they were properly enabled, in Jobvite platform, navigate to Admin > ATS > Workflows > View Workflows.


In the Workflows page, select the "General (Default)" Workflow.

There, you will see the list of available Candidate States for the workflow.

Ensure that the following states were added:

  1. Canditech Assessment

  2. Canditech Assessment Completed

  3. Canditech Assessment Error

Since these states are manually enabled by the Jobvite support team, in the case that the states are missing or incorrect, please contact Jobvite support team.


Confirm required Canditech Custom Fields were properly configured in Jobvite

Once your integration is complete, the Canditech platform will be running periodic synchronizations from Canditech to Jobvite and will enable the Custom Fields.

To verify that the Custom Fields were properly configured in Jobvite, navigate to Admin > Configurations > Custom Fields > View Custom Fields.

Ensure there is a CanditechTest field configured on the Requisition.

In the Custom Fields page, navigate to the "Candidate" tab.

Ensure the list of Canditech fields (all fields who begin with ‘Canditech …’) were added to the Candidate.

In case the fields are missing:

  • Since these fields are synced automatically in an hourly periodic process, please ensure you have waited at least 1 hour from the moment you have pasted your API Key and Secret Key into the Canditech Platform.

  • In case fields are still missing after that time has passed, please contact Canditech support at support@canditech.io.


Assign a Canditech assessment to a new or existing Jobvite Requisition

In the Jobvite platform, navigate to "Requisitions".

Open an existing or a new Requisition.

Inside the Requisition's page, select "Details".

Edit the Requisition.

Locate the "Canditech Test" field and select a test from the dropdown.

Save your Canditech Test.

Your Canditech Test will be saved to the Requisition.


Send a Canditech Assessment to a Candidate and review results

In the Jobvite platform, navigate to "Candidates".

Open an existing or a new Candidate.

In the Candidate's page, open up the "Workflow Step" and select "Canditech Assessment" from the dropdown.

This step will result in immediately sending an email invitation to the candidate.

In case there was any failure sending the assessment to the candidate, the candidate will be set to Canditech Assessment Error state, and the error message will appear under the Application Details > Canditech Error section field.

If all went well and the candidate has completed the assessment, the candidate session information will appear under the Application Details section.

There, you will also see their submitted Canditech Assessment, along with their score, status, and a link to view the submitted assessment on Canditech.

When you navigate to the candidate's assessment session in the Canditech platform, you can give the candidate's test session a thumbs up or thumbs down decision.


Back in Jobvite, your decisions will be updated.
